Spelling bees are quite tricky. It has to be just perfect. Miss one letter and your out, Take your time... think... and... correct!
"Language of origin please?" "Can I have the definition?" "Please say that in a sentence." Make sure you have ambition.
Remember to speak loud and clear. Don't overthink your hard word. And practice, practice, practice, So you won't get caught off guard.
Pay attention to others, And learn what you forgot to. Can't remember if 'x' is French? Listen to opponents for a clue.
Oh no! You don't know this word! You don't need to start sweating. Try writing the word in your palm, Or closing you eyes while spelling.
Spelling bees aren't that easy, So don't act like they're nothing. Even if you aren't onstage, Don't be rude- then, you'll be buzzing.
