Pep rallies... Where to begin? I knew it was trouble When I first walked in.

Pop music was playing. Teachers dancing, too. Seriously? I wasn't even next to you!

Finally it stopped, And they announced the sports. Swim... basketball... show choir... Cheerleaders ran across the court.

They sang the school song And did a couple cheers. Then they anounced something That aroused my peers.

"There will be a basketball game Between teachers and the team." I just wanted to groan, Leave, and scream.

So the basketball team Went and warmed up As bad music blared. Now I wished I was in a club.

They got to leave! How dare they! It was so not fair. I had to stay.

So I had to watch The teachers kick the team's butt. It was the worst day Then the cheerleaders came out with a strut.

No. Oh no. This can't be happening. I buried my face in my hands. They yelled numbers and started running.

"6th grade, what's your number?" No one yelled it back. Off they went. Of course, 7th grade didn't slack!

"7th grade, what's your number?" "1! 8! 1! 8! 1 1 1 1 1! 8!" This is the year- 2018- When 7th grade will graduate.

8th grade wasn't as loud As 7th grade. We still lost Cause we didn't yell 19, I'm afraid.

7th grade got the spirit run. The pep rally was over. I'm dreading the next one... It's getting closer...
