The tree is bare, cold and lonely, Shivering, waiting for something. The one dark spot on all the lawn Is this tree, soon to be gone.

It's points intimidate nature While it's rough bark peels and litters. The tree huddles in a large heap; It's the one thing nature can't keep.

The tree wavers, but doesn't tip, It just wants to hold on longer. But with everything hating it, It'll be hard not to quit.

A gloomy day passes along Rain splashing on the naked branches. When a there is a powerful blow, The tree decides to let it go.

It crashes to the hard, wet ground, Settling it's final desicion. To this day, the tree still lays there, Regretting everything, in despair...
