When you were 15, you were in secondary school. You were like a cat prowling for the answers to questions, and during lunchtime, you were like a dog running around all over the place. SPHE (Social, Personal & Health Education) is a way of telling children, teenagers and younger adults to learn how to be nice to yourself, your peers and the world. SPHE starts at Year 2 (1st class in Ireland)and goes all the way up to college level. There are 10 modules;
1 Belonging and Integrating,
2 Self-Management,
3 Communication Skills,
4 Physical Health,
5 Friendship,
6 Relationships and Sexuality Education,
7 Emotional Health,
8 Influences and Decisions,
9 Substance Use, and
10 Personal Safety.
Each module can be linked to other module(s). Each module has sections and subsections which meets assessment requirements of the curriculum.
Note: Please point out any mistakes and I will correct them. You might get tagged! The latest ten people will be tagged. After that, starting from that, old tags will be deleted. In order to get re-tagged, you have to point out more mistakes. Thanks!
