There are five factors to diets.
Calories. These are bits and pieces of energy that goes into your body, but it is bad for you. One bottle of Lucozade Energy is 260 calories, but a 25-year old male can have up to 2000 calories while staying healthy.
Fats. These keep you warm. The GDA (guideline daily amount) for a male adult is around 80g. A packet of Doritos has about 10g. Or in Ireland, a bag of Tayto Crisps has 13g of fat.
Saturated fat. This is fat but made unhealthier. A male adult can have 30g of these unhealthy fats. Doritos and Tayto Crisps have about 4g.
Sugars. These come from carbohydrates. They not also keep you warm but also give you energy. However, too much can cause obesity. A male adult GDA is 105g. Lucozade Energy has 27g but Doritos only has 1g.
Salt. Sodium is needed for a healthy body, but too much can kill you. An adult needs 6g, and a chd needs 4g. Doritos has 1.5g of salt, while Tayto Crisps has 1g.
