You're not supposed to be here." I whisper to the shadows. A figure steps into the moonlight. "How do you always know?" a smile breaks out across his face, fangs sparkling in the light. I point to my ears,"I'm always alert."
"With those cat senses of yours I can't get away with anything." Now I smile,all teeth and little fangs . He smiles again, I can't take it. I rush into his arms,he runs his fingers through my black hair whispering my name. "Tigerlilly, Tigerlilly. My beautiful Tigerlilly." I only smile, his touch calming, his voice soothing.
Our embrace feels like eternity, yet when he steps away it felt only a few moments. "Don't leave" I breathe, a knot forming in my stomach. "I'll always be back" he says gently then turns back to bat, fluttering out into the night. I jump up unto the windowsill, now in my true form and watch him disappear. My tail flickering, I would wait.
