Iridescent Infinite

I'd scoop up the stars and put them in a jar but that's still not far enough.

I'm the colors of the earth almost something you can't see. Wild like the ocean but calm as the sea. Sparks that make the glow. A shooting star thats left the galaxy. Non-contained
Connected in many ways but slipping through your hand. Water, reflecting right back. No longer yours to hold.

Cause it's not that simple you see. Darling it's a part of me
An iridescent infinite
Wild and free.

Slow Burn

Slow burn. Worlds turn. And yet they stay. In their place today. Times change. And rearrange. Embrace the new. When they look for you. The old will seem. Like a fading dream. They hide, they guide.

Phantom, with your eyes so bright, Can you take away the night. Phantom, with your heart so cold, Can you keep me young and old. Phantom, with your diamond vice, Can you take my heart of ice.

Beautifully Enshrined

In a bird a man flies, A cartographer of endless sky. In a man a bird spies, A topographer of his ascending life. In a mind the ink dries, A calligrapher of hidden lies.
