I can't believe I only saw you this morning. It feels like years since you last kissed me. The smell of your perfume engulfs my mind. The feel of your lips as they last touched mine.
I leave you for just a few short weeks, but it seems an eternity. Out love is strong and true, and it will guide us through. And soon I will be back in your arms, a gift I won't turn down. My Christmas comes early, with you it's all year round.
So though it's sad and at times heartbreaking. Be glad and joyful for what is coming. You're an inspiration and a treasure, my hearts one true pleasure. And at night when I dream, it's only you I picture.
I know we'll make it through, my life is destined to be with you. Time will not damage us, or even try to hurt us. It makes out lives eternal and our passions ever feral.
Sleep well my sweet, and dream your dreams. I'll soon be with you, where reality is almost not quite what it seems. I'll love you there as I love you here. The distance means nothing and with you, time I'll never fear.
