Rain drops slithered down the cold glass of the window as my warm breath created a milky puddle on its surface. With my pale, nimble finger I traced a jagged heart, it quickly evaporating away.

"So sweetie,"Mom asked. "Whataya think?"

I peered outside the window glancingly, and took in tall and winding oaks sprawled out across the edge of a murky coast. I could almost feel the whipping, whining breeze and taste the salt on the air. Suddenly, I felt a longing hope. Hope that this could be the home I've so yearned for.

"It's beautiful," I murmured in awe.

The car sped along quickly, dodging potholes and large amounts of wind-blown sand. And quickly I took in the awe-inspiring coast with my vivid blue eyes. I rolled the window halfway down and let my strawberry blonde girls frolic in the wind. Hmmm...frolic. What a curious word.
