Sometimes when I feel down,
Suffering from depression,
I wear a constant frown,
As if sadness was my mission,
I don't set out to be like that,
It's not my life's obsession,
To wake up with a scowl on my face,
I don't want to give that impression,
So if you see me feeling down,
Don't try to teach me a lesson,
A smile, a hug, a joke or laugh,
Will make me a happier person.
