In an old mansion, Abandoned by life, Strange happenings, Troubles and strife, Nothing lives there, No mice or rats, No insects or spiders, Not even bats, Furniture in place, An old rocking chair, A lonely telephone, Unused dinnerware, No power goes in, No bulbs to light, But on Halloween, It's ablaze in the night, The phone rings, Answered by a breath, No life in this house, Just death.
