Why are my cats always so lazy? I'm not complaining- it's just envy! Lounging around getting fed on demand, Oh why can't it be me!
Licking and preening, Constantly cleaning, Except of course when they're not sleeping.
Why are my cats always so lazy? A ten second burst of energy, You would think they'd done a days work, Oh I wish it was me!
Lying and sighing, Constantly prying, Watching every move through half closed eyes.
Why are my cats always so lazy? No killing they're own quarry for them, It's me that hunts the supermarket, Why can't they shop for me!
The big eyes looking up, The miaow of delight, As they rub themselves against me, Why are my cats always so lazy? I don't care, they're part of me.
