CHAPTER 5

The immense power that enveloped the room shattered the windows in their panes, blew paper out of their places, and flung open the door that confined them to the room. All of this power came from the young Creator, Temari, who had unleashed a power as old as time its self. The burst of wind had brought back old memories of ages ago when the Creators first constructed the Earth. Temari's body and mind were overtaken by this thought, and everything else didnt matter. Once again the mysterious White Wolf was produced from the white light. It stared at something beyond the realm she was in, never turning its eyes to see her. It perked up its ears, as if hearing something, and slowly walked away from her. She tried running after the apprition, but it blended in with the white scenery. As soon as the wolf went farther than her eye sight, colors and shapes reappeared in the room. She came back to rationality and stared from the ground where she lay. The entire room looked like a tornado had flown in and destroyed everything. There was no glass left in the window panes. The desk where Mikan had original sat at was obliterated into tiny pieces. She didnt see any signs of life, nor did she see Damian. "I did this?" she wondered in awe and shock, "Maybe what Mikan said was right. Maybe I am a Creator." She slowly rose, wincing once her back straightened. "That's right, my back is in pain because he opened the seal." she thought. Her eyes opened wide. She crawled over to the nearest broken glass and stared at her reflection. Her tatoo, the seal, was gone. She was vulenrable. Her power could overflow at any time. Running her hands through her hair, she finally pulled it back for the first time, revealing her whole face. She was a new person, and this marked the day of forgeting her past and remembering her future. She wasnt all alone now. She had the world by her side, and she knew, as a Creator, someone had to defend it. She got up, fully, and looked for Damian. Could she have hurt him? Where was everyone? Stumbling over debri, she made her way out of the room and away from the wreckage. What ever place they had been in had been totally ripped to shreds. You did this, she reminded herself. Moving past the biggest pile, Temari spotted three figures darting away from her. Though the sun was about to set, her eyes tracked them down as she lumbered forward. Damian. He was in the clutches of the Controller. The middle aged man turned to face Temari, who had jut caught up with them. His lips curled into a sneer. "If you truly are a Creator, then cling to life. Try and survive the pits of regret to what this boy will go through. And when you have decided to come save him, I hope the name Creator won't be mocked as it has now. You have caused quite a trouble for me, so I'm now off schedule. Ill tell you one last thing though; your powers are impressive in their volume, but you have no control. If you really want to live up to your Creator name, dont bother me with foolishness." Mikan turned away with his Thunder Demon and holding Damian by the collar of his shirt. "Goodbye, Temari Protector of the Wood." he called and he disapeared into the sky. Damian, her only friend, was gone. The only one who listened. The only one who cared. The only one who waited everyday for her at the institution. He and those memories had just taken flight out of Temari's mind. But she would get him back. Even if it meant her doing the unthinkable. Even if her life didnt matter.

She would have to save everyone.
