The times we had

I'm never sad

You had what you had

Which wasn't a lot

And the time we shared

Wasn't much.

I'd just like to thank you

For letting me fall in love

And pretend to catch me

And pull your hands away

I never saw it coming

Why was I so surprised?

All you've ever know was how to run away

But I was young

And I was naïve

And I was very stupid

And very much in love.
