Little one runs through the night Filled with terror, filled with fright Of what fate has in store for her Not wanting to live anymore To the bridge? To the town hall? Maybe just lock herself in a bathroom stall The rusty old knife screams an evil hello Slicing through her small chest like Jello She falls to the ground with her last breaths Thinking whatll happen to her brother Seth And what ever happened to Mom and Dad? Their absence had truly driven her mad It must be my fault, she thinks, I deserve to die Fate shouldnt give me one last try And so she stays, crying empty tears, her blood staining the ground Staggering up, she takes a look around And hobbles outside the sun nearly blinding her She looks down and to her side, then she murmurs: Eleven years ago I was left there Nothing to eat or drink. Nothing to wear. And slowly the knife has paid her ransom- The story of a girl, who as a child was abandoned.
