Creeping silently under the veil of night The eyes, golden, I see them gleam Shivers sent through my spine and head filled with fright Because this house isn't what it seems

With a rope and a pulley i could climb up To avoid the creatures under the stairs And watch as moonlight casts off the silver dust With spiderwebs like fine gray hairs

A slight squeak or small creak could cause it to stir The monster in the darkness The secrets of the haunted, I have learned From the cursed enchantress

Hidden in a veil of evil And cursed, dangerous desire You are condemned to burn alive Surrounded by his fire
