-Hey guys! Again, no wifi here, so clumped together chapters. Also, this is gonna be a lot shorter than I expected, probably only ten chapters.JSYK.-

"What is standard protocol under these circumstances?" I asked, straightening my tie. "What?" she half laughed. "Um... Well, if you're going to go to the Café, you could always buy coffee and explain the story. The cafe! I could talk to Marylin. I needed a thorough background check, find out if she's associated with any BAD agents, her habit and daily routine... "Alright," I agreed. "Now what was.." I'd forgotten her name. But I thought it might be rude to ask. "Hmm?" The girl looked at me. "Nothing." I plastered a fake smile on my face as she guided me through the door. All in a day's work. -- I spotted Marylin as soon as I stepped into the place. Forgetting all about the woman Id broken in on, I excused myself to go order. "Welcome to Stinsons Cafe," she smiled at the register. She laughed. "I like the suit." Charming, I thought. Say something charming. "I like your.. Um.... Face?" FAILURE. She giggled though. What, girls dig stupid rambling? Nah, I'm not going to give that approach a try. I've got a suit on. Sophisticated, sleek, sexy- She snapped in my face, my eyes focusing on her fingers. Her nails were painted cherry red. Yum, now I want cherries. "Hey!" she giggled. "I need to take your order." Step one. Isolate her. "Id like to order a date with you." I looked her in her eyes, raising half my mouth in a smile. I saw a gleam in her eyes. "Sure, I have a break in a few minutes. Did you need anything?" "Yeah," I glanced over at the girl. "A medium hazelnut latte and whatever.... She likes." "Oh, Lexi?" Marylin laughed. Lexi! That's her name! "She's a regular. She likes pumpkin cappuccinos." she turned and started to make them without taking my money. Oh well. I like money. A few minutes later, she came through the small gate in the counter holding three cups. "Here," she gave me two and pointed to one. "That's yours." I looked at Lexi. "Be right back." I walked to Lexi, who was reading something now, and carefully set down the cup before quietly running out the door to a laughing Marylin. I started laughing when I heard her yell "Hey! Wait a minute!" I stopped. I laughed... I laughed? I haven't literally laughed in.. I don't know when. I haven't full out laughed, ever. Interesting. Okay, step one complete, step two, win her over. Make her trust me. Ha! Who would ever trust ME? I looked over and smirked. Game on.

Chapter 5

"Do you want to go to the park?" She asked with a sparkle in her eyes. "They just finished rebuilding it." I gulped nervously. I haven't been to the park since that time I accidentally destroyed it with that new laser. "The park..? Uh.. Sure." She grabbed my hand and started to run, tugging me along. I closed my eyes. Dear God, please let me find the BAD agent after her so I don't have to deal with this all the time? Amen. I rubbed one of my temples, Marylin's peppiness was giving me a headache. I wish that she was like me do we could actually do COOL stuff. You know, jump buildings, sky dive, helicopter dog fights... The usual. Finally, she slowed down, approaching the park. I rubbed my shoulder, she has quite a grip. "You wrinkled my suit," I complained. She scoffed and turned around, quickly pulling it down in an effort to unwrinkle. "There" "Whatever," I mumbled, smoothening it out with my palms. She turned around and I put on a fake, probably over exaggerated smile. "Let's get ice cream," she said, walking to the stands. I groaned, maybe I should have just let BAD get her. "You can't eat ice cream with a suit on!" -- "...which is why she yelled at him, and then..." Marylin rambled on. I picked out small bits of it but mainly ignored her. "I hope I don't have to do this for long," I whispered into the receiver on my collar to Hudson. "Just put up with it," his hushed voice flooded back. "It's your membership mission." I groaned and turned the device back off. I looked at Marylin. "Hey, listen," I interrupted. "Do you... Umm.. I don't know. We could go somewhere else." and then, hushed,"Kind of want to." "We could go back to your house, I kind of want to see where you live." It didn't sound like an absolutely perfect idea. I agreed, only because I hoped that it would be the end to the evening. I took her to the apartment/ASS center. I stepped into the elevator and clicked on 5. I had one of three penthouses, which is pretty sweet. Minus that it's a tad big for my liking. "Holy shit," Marylin hissed out as she stared unbelievably into my penthouse. "You live here?" I nodded. "Sure do." She ran and jumped, landing on her back on a couch. "This is amazing? What the hell do you even do??" "I... Um.... Lawyer?" I lied. She nodded. "That explains the suit." "Sure," I walked over to the mini-bar that my good friend Mr.Stinson had given me as a birthday present. It was like a mini version of his bar. Pouring myself a drink, I looked at Marylin. "And I believe this is the end of this... Err... 'fine' eve?" She looked confused, and her cheeks flushed and for the first time since, like, chapter two, I was reminded how pretty the girl in front of me was. "That's not how I hear it's supposed to end.." I sighed in exasperation. "Then how the hell is it supposed to??" She came over, and, with a smirk, whispered the same thing Hudson did. I flinched, slightly disgusted, like before. "Ew," I quietly shuddered. She giggled and closed her eyes, laying her lips on mine. I thought: What the hell is she doing?! I thought: Is Marylin kissing me? I thought: She is, and I don't know how to. And, after, like, a full two minutes(or so it seemed), I thought: I must be the best friking kisser in the history in the universe.

I stayed, sipping from my glass as Marylin stepped into the elevator. She smiled shyly and waved. I stared back and nodded with a fake smile. After the elevator closed, I frowned, set my drink down, and pressed my temples, because 1) I just kissed a total stranger who is annoying, too optimistic, and beautiful. 2) This was my first kiss. 3) This. Was. GROSS. I plopped on the couch and just yelled. I really needed to get that out.

Chapter 6 "Maaaaaxweeeeelllll," I called out. My small beagle puppy, Maxwell trotted up to the couch from the kitchen and hopped on my lap. I know, we have the same names. I didn't name him though. I had adopted him from some family who left him on the street. So yeah, he was a stray. "Who's a good puppy!" I exclaimed in that voice everyone uses when talking to puppies. He yawned and curled up on my lap, snoring softly. I carefully picked him up and set him on a pillow, hoping I didn't get any hair on my pants. I stood up and walked to the window, looking out over all of New York, and I wondered how I haven't seen the entire city. I walked over and pressed a button on the wall, which slide a panel open to reveal dozens of bookshelves filled with books I haven't read, mainly because a) I'm not a huge reader, b) The books I read are at my office, and c) I only got my penthouse a few months ago after I finished training. I selected a romance-y themed book in an effort to understand why Marylin was attracted to me, learn how to deal with it, and, also, how to avoid Lexi, if there was any way to do so. I read three pages before I got bored and started to pick at a small tear in the cover. Romance stuff was soo boring, why can't they write something exciting, like an ASS agent?? Like me! I could write my own auto biography, all about me and my adventures as a secret agent. Such a great idea that I woke up Little Maxwell to tell him. He responded by licking my nose. "Okay?" I told him. "I'll take that as a 'go for it, Maxwell!'" I heard a ding followed by a voice. "There's a BAD agent near Marylin," Hudson walked into the penthouse. "You want me to go?" I sighed, "Suree." Looks like my book will have to wait..

~found a wifi spot! Sorry, it was after I wrote everything.
