I've got two dogs Named Shane and Sweet Caroline And although they're opposites They're both friends of mine.
Shane was abused before We had gotten him in '09 But he bonded lots with my brother And when he leaves he howls and whines.
Shane likes me too, But only if Hunter's gone. He's playful and sweet when he wants to And likes to run on our lawn.
Apparently his full name is "Swamp Bottom Shameless Shane" The owners weren't too nice to him So Shane is his regular name
Caroline is such a pup Named after the song "Sweet Caroline" Wherever you'll go she'll tag along.
Caroline loves to jump and play And has a strong hunting sense too But when the playing and hunting's all done She likes to snuggle in bed with you
And when we got baby Caroline Shane started to lighten a bit He chewed on toys and crawled into beds And he seemed like he loved it
Both beagles I love so much I'd hate to see them go So, Shane, Caroline, heres your poem I love you both so!
