@ren360 I hope this isn't late???
I awoke in the body Of a ten year old girl So I went outside To explore this new world
A father with a package Greeted me outdoors "Honey you'll love this!" He hollered as he unwrapped it some more.
It was a microwave Enormous and sleek Not like the normal kind Standing there next to it made me feel meek
But, alas, it caught on fire! What to do, what to do? "Crawl inside it and put it out!" he yelled "This is all up to you!"
And so I abided to his request Crawling inside the microwave It was fiery and dreadful I felt like the man's slave
"Press the switch!" I heard And so I looked around But no matter where I looked A switch was not to be found
And so I crawled deeper and deeper Until I saw a light And when I stood up I saw a bloody fight
Characters I recognized From a movie last March The Hunger Games people So I ran to an arch
This is when Katniss Said I should fight So I picked up a bow and quiver of arrows And started the flight
I shot from above No one could reach me Until I ran out of arrows And fell into a tree
They all looked at me And what the flying hell? Their faces were melting!! Was this some sick,twisted spell?
Everything melted away And I sat on the moon In front of a strange man Who was using a loom.
"We need you to help us!" He looked straight at me. "What? I fought and flew." I replied. "Even fell into a tree!
I just want to go home Is that so much to ask?" And then he thought and said, "Fine, I will take on that task."
And then I was sleeping again In my own bed What was this crazy story Made inside my sleeping head?
But I was still not me The ten year old girl So how to I figure out How to get back to my world?
I awoke in another body On a beach What the hell? Was the real world out of my reach?
Then again I awoke On a soaring plane When I fell off And flew down through the pouring rain!
Once again I was awake In front of an AA intervention What's the point of all this?? Talk about dream-ception!!
But finally I woke up For real this time With my puppy licking my face Her name's Caroline
I sighed and was glad it was over That was a super strange dream Trapped in that body of a girl I learned things aren't always as they seem!
