"stop, Rich." I say, pushing him away. "This needs to stop. I cant cheat on Jonah... I just cant." Rich looked like he was going to cry. "Leia," he croaked. "Ive felt so much better since knowing you." "Rich," I sighed out. "We dont need to be together to hang out. If you want, we can go out tomorrow." "One last kiss," he pleaded, blue eyes sparkling. He pressed against me and just barely touched my lips before backing up. "Friends?" I giggled,"Friends!" I stepped out of the bathroom and walked to the swings where Jonah was. I smiled. "Im back!" Knowing that Id ended any possible complications with Rich was absolutely great and morally correct, but I could tell that I would miss him, and hed miss me. On the plus side, Id made an ally. But his dad! His dad hated second class citizens... That worried me. "Oh lookie,"Jonah said. "Its your newfound friend." he sounded disgusted. "Hey, Leia. Hey, Jonah." Rich waved. As Jonah rolled his eyes, Rich couldnt help but winking at me while i mouthed stop it. Even though Rich was sweet.... Really... Really.... Sweet.. "hey Rich!" I said upbeat and cheerfully, smiling. "Rich??" Was that jealousy I heard in Jonah's voice? "Uh huh," Rich nodded. "So, uh, Leia, I was wondering if you wanted toooo.... Go to the mall tomorrow? My wardrobe is so drab," he said, straightening the collar of his blazer. I glanced at Jonah, whos wide eyes screamed, Say no! I turned around and smiled at Rich. "Sure, Id love too! I dont have any plans anyways." Rich smiled. "Awesome. S-see yuh then." he said, walking away. "umm, what the hell was that???" Jonah demanded. I shrugged. "Me accepting a request to hang with a friend, no biggie!" "Uhhh yea biggie! You could so tell hes into you! I know because I was into you and I used those tricks!" I felt like I couldnt breathe. "Tricks? You used a simple trick on me?" i uttered quietly. Jonah softened. "No, no Leia, not like that... Obviously if weve been together a month you had to like me." I felt a tear in my eye. "Yeah, cause of what you said that night! Were those lies??? All part of your lame ass trick?!" "Leia! Stop! Thats not what i said!" "Yes it is!!!" I yelled. "Dont deny it!" He pulled me in close. "Stop Leia. What I meant was, I acted like that in the beginning to get you hooked so youd like me no matter what and-" "Thats exactly what I just said," I yelped weakly, crying. Jonah looked like he would start crying too. "Leia...." "Jonah," I took a breath. "I think we need to take a break." Jonah started letting the tears fall, making me cry harder. "Leia!!!! no!!! Please!" I shook my head. "No, this is for the better. Go a week without me... You can experiment with whoever you want.... And we'll talk on the first day of school." "Leia-" Jonah said again, trying to convince me otherwise. "No, Jonah. Goodbye." I got up and left the park.
**the reason I did this was to have more flexibility with male relationships regarding Leia. Also the whole team thing, if anyones doing that. Also, im gonna draw/ find pics that resemble how I invision the characters, and put it as my pic. Thanks SO much if youve read up to this point. Likes and comments appreciated but not mandatory.
