Ians Pov
Alyssa held my hand really tightly. Like death grip. I stood up, and she released her grip. "What is it?" "She is alive," he comfirmed. "But her body systems are very very unstable and damaged. Its lucky she survived a fall like that." he walked over to the receptionist to drop off some files. Alyssa hugged me, burying her head in my shoulder. "Do you think she'll get better?" I wrapped my arms around her. "Alyssa, he has to." Rich and Jonah stormed in, looking like theyd seen a ghost. I turned even though Alyssa wouldnt let me go. "Leias alive, but in super critical condition." "Thank God," Rich breathed. Jonah raised an eyebrow at me and Alyssa. "Ian, I never pictured YOU the boyfriend type." "Shut up," Alyssa hissed. "Lets just stay positive alright???" "Can we see her?!" Rich asked desperatly. "I suppose," the doctor sighed. We followed him into the bright room where Leia was. She smiled weakly at our presence. "Hey, guys." "Leia," Rich breathed deeply, crying. "Youre gonna be okay." Jonah seemed like he didnt know what to do. "Here," Leia said horsely."I wrote each of you a personal letter. Just things I wanted to say but never could, you know?" I nodded. "Yeah." "Leia, as soon as you get better wer gonna have to throw another party!" Claire said, smiling through tears. "We are all saying prayers for you." Alyssa chimed in. "Okay," the doctor said, ushering us out. thats enough." Leia waved. "Bye, guys." -- As soon as I got home, Alyssa called me. "My parents are home," she wimpered. "Can I please come over?" I sighed. I was stressed enough about this whole damned situation, but maybe having Alyssa over would help. "Sure, of course you can." When she got to my house she hugged me again, sobbing. Shes lucky im not one of those dousches who would dump their girlfriends the moment they did something like this. "Alyssa, stop, your gonna make me cry," I said, hald heartedly laughing, tear in my eye. She laughed too and wiped her eyes. "im sorry. It was just so weird. It was like someone pulled ber off the roof." "Lets just change the subject." I replied quickly. "Tots," she yelped quietly, snuggling up to me on the couch. -- Richs pov
That bitch, i thought, punching the punching bag. The only sporty-ish thing Im good at. Jonahs gone and skipped town. Probably 200 miles away by now. Hes terrible, claims he loves Leia and leaves her at a time like that? I decided to sit down and read my letter Leia wrote.
