On a dark and stormy day there was a cat sitting in the street, quiet but gloomy with a tear in her small gleaming eye. She looked around and saw an old, creaking house that was as old as the woman who lived in it. Meowing, the small cat brushed up against the door, and was surprised to see the woman came and opened the door. "Alright," the woman said. "Ill keep you for a night or so, but thats it." One day turned to two and two into ten, and soon the woman realized she had a pernament resident on her hands.

So one night they lay out by the fire, the cat in an old, worn out, crimson colored feather pillow, and the woman in a navy blue recliner shed recieved for her birthday.

The cat jumped on the womans lap, purring with happiness at finding a home, when the woman decided this little kitten needed a name.

"hmm," she thought. "Ill call you... Opuss."
