"You make it sound bad," Catherine said.
"We just want time to hang out with you!" Frankie tried to explain. "Youve been hanging out with him way too much."
"But.... Theres a murderer out there who wants to hurt him!" I yelled.
"To be honest Im not a huge fan of Ian..." Frankie grumbled.
"Cant he find a different place to hang out?" Catherine asked.
I thought for a moment. "If Ian comes you both can each invite a guy?"
"It wont be the same!" Catherine whined.
"Then I guess Im not going," I growled.
"Ugh! Fine!" they said in unison.
They both left to pack, so I went upstairs to do so too. A few pairs of jean shorts, jeans, t shirts, tank tops, bug spray, pjs, swimsuit, towels, sleeping bag&pillow, and of course two fedoras. And toiletries.
I got in my car and headed over to Ians house to see if he wanted to go. i hope so, considering that Id made such a big deal with it in front of the girls.
He was just coming out the door when I got there.
He turned, saw me, and smiled. "Hey!" he hugged me.
"Hi Ian," I answered. "Wanna go camping?"

"When you said camping, I kinda thought just you and me," I whispered to Alyssa. She had also invited her two friends and they brought their boyfriends.
"Sorry," she whispered. "It was this or nothing."
Everyone was in my car, which bothered me a little bit, why couldnt they just take their own cars?? I dont even know these people!
"So, uh...." I started, trying to start a conversation. "Camping, huh?"
Everyone nodded, which made Alyssa laugh. "What?!" I asked.
"Nothing! I swear it Ian," she leaned over and kissed my cheek.
I heard everyone giggle. "Oh shut up," Alyssa murmured jokingly. "Oh, here we are!"
We all got out of the car. By the time wed set up camp, it was already dark. I laid mine and Alyssa's sleeping bags out by the fire pit so that we could watch stars.
Alyssa took a pack of matches from her bag and started the fire, and scooted close to me, nestling her head in my shoulder as i put my arm around her.
"You know," she said, breaking the silence. "If I could freeze this moment and live in it forever, I would."
I smiled and responded by giving her a kiss.
She smiled back, and we both layed back on the ground, staring at the stars.
