"Seriously guys," I said sternly. "Look at this photo."
"Ummm," Claire hummed. "Yeah, that was like two days ago, so what?"
Alyssa laughed though. "That was really fun, Ian,"
"Yeah it was," I pointed behind the fence. "Look though!"
There were two hands gripping the fence, and one foot as though someone was waiting to climb over.
"What does that even mean?" Claire stammered. I gulped. "I think someone killed Leia.
Moments of silence passed. It took a while for them to process my idea.
"Who would kill Leia??" Alyssa wondered. "People hated her, but not badly enough to KILL her."
"I know," I replied. "But this would explain why Leia fell/slid off the roof. And its probably that person who killed Leia."
"Well wait!" Claire said. "We still dont know if Leia was murdered or not!" I shuddered at the term. She sighed. "I gotta go. My mom wants me to go pick up." she walked out the door, leaving it slightly ajar.
"Me too," Alyssa says. "I need to feed Zazzy."
"Zazzy?" I raise an eyebrow.
"My new lizard. Do ya wanna come see her?"
"Sure," I nodded.
We stepped out of the door and I locked it, tucking the keys in my pocket, getting in the car. "I hear Jonah skipped town."
Alyssa made a face. "Ugh. Jonahs just a little wimp, saying he loved her and leaving without saying ANYTHING to her!" she thought a moment. "I thought Rich was bad, but hes actually a good guy and really loved Leia."
"Yeah, true," I agreed. "I kind of wonder where Jonah went. I dont have his number though."
"me neither."
We finally got to Alyssas house. We walked through the living room and into the dining room, where there was a terrarium.
"This is Zazzy," Alyssa held up a lizard.
"Awe," I said, rubbing her head. She felt like a snake.
Alyssa fed Zazzy a few crickets and then checked the driveway. "Oh. No ones here. I thought my sister would be back by now."
We both looked at each other. "Sooo," I say.
She smiled. "Way ahead of you."
