"Many a year ago, there was a safe haven for thinkers and imaginers alike," the man started. "Books and manuscripts flooded from the city as the main export. Plays, comedies, romances, dramas, novels.. You name it, they had it made. And one day, the writings stopped coming to towns. Books were salvaged, but time took its toll on all of them. Not many are left in good condition." He stopped to give each of us a look before continuing. "Search parties were sent after this land of words, but none were successful. And to this day, no one even knows the name of this land." A girl beside me raised her hand. "Yes?" "Is this true?" she asked. "Of course it is," he grinned. "Tis history studies, is it not?"
