I had no time. Absolutely not time to think. I was rushed into it and I couldn't even blink. Before I knew it I was trapped in a cage, Made a spectacle of, I had to get away.
So I told I had to go, left in a blur, Ran out the door and even before I could get three feet, Your cold blue eyes began to meet, My bruised heart.
And so I ran not walked, Yelled not talked, And my heart stayed locked.
