A garland of flowers encircle her hair, Sweet smelling, crisp and fair, Awaiting the rescue of her charming prince, From the evil, deceitful dragon's lair.
Though she loved him, would he come? Or would he be scared off by the dragon's low hum? Would he think of another? Or just himself? And instead of just taking her love, give some?
Or would he just sit through all the pain? And convince himself love was just a game? Ignoring the feelings in his heart, And pretending he dosen't feel the same?
She didn't know, How could she though? For a prisoner was she, As fate had decreed it so.
I don't know what to say, But I still wish to see you every day, And I hope that my dream will come true, That somehow it will find a way.
I'm not a princess in a dragon's lair, With long, luscious, fair hair, But I love you as much as she loved him, And I wish you were here as she wished he were there.
