Beauty grows from the core, As a tree develops its branches. Sound living, drawing the sap of life, Reaching out, strengthening advances. Colourful leaves blanching sunlight borne, Breathing and discarded before the fall. From beginning to end, nourishing below, Replaced soon, thereafter, with more.
A home for some, a perch for others, Welcome shade for passers by. A breaker for stormy winds, Daily, stepping closer to the sky. Bark protects each yearly ring, Magnificent, majestic, years fly. Expanding, toughening, encouraging, The beauty from within can never lie.
