In age I wander, wise and untied The past behind, nothing to hide. A life of living, sharing all tried, My loving wife, the heart of me died.

Loss darkened, hope waned, tears divided, Irrevocable pain deepened and blind. Alone, vulnerable, weaknesses abided, The bottomless pit, a lost place to subside.

Dusk dawns, new light shines, thoughts coincide, From mournful ashes a yearning to live cried. Our talking, meeting and holding contrived To kissing, loving and an awakening pride.

Sharing and trusting anew, high tides, Long lost souls amidst waves of fire ride. Sparkling in the kindle, mists of time side, To release from fear and open me wide.

No more dilemma, one life, once applied, Strengthens the will, concentrates the mind. Without one, there can be no other to find, Another chance to love and so, be revived.
