In lighthearted appreciation of the works of Tom May @crowncottage @naaviie @RichWithey @merlin1038 @JRRTolkien

The tree of life climbs good and true, Stretching boldly beyond all things. Reaching, tip-toeing, searing through, Creating the fellowship of the rings.

A fellowship, to save all souls, Deliberating the ins and outs. This tiny acorn, one of many coals Fuelling the flames of doubt.

Kindness, talent, foresight, wisdom, So many different rings to play. Within the fold, a ring of gold, Forged by the poet Tom May.

With each year a ring is cast, Combined, a record of everyday. To live, to stand undefeated, fast, In triumph and in a playful way.

The word is spoken, laid to bare, Passed from one to another, like twister. Courage, confidence and great care, Out of trunk to bear a brother, or a sister.
