" quick!shouted our hero, " release the atomic earth crystal fluid, ten prox at a time until the chamber is empty!"
"ten!?!" shouted his accomplice
"Yeah, if we flood the recour engine biter now, we can kiss goodbye to pulling this plan off!!!" the wind was blowing hard the aerodrome hanger was like a wind tunnel, in the botched break in they had inadvertently opened both hanger doors at each end of the Adrome, causing all but the Atomic Par Laser machine to be blown off up in to the air.
Both men were shouting, the noise being made from the Atomic particle laser sounded like a million rubber hammers being dropped constantly on a metal fallout shelter, a sound which they were familiar with , since hey have had to live in exile from the Steel Nazis, a political up rising no one gave credence to initially, 13 years later, the world is a unrecognisable wasteland. These two fugitives were attempting to hijack there enemies top technological kit. Max punched code after code into the lasers many readouts and keyboards, Zeron shouted " it's full, the fluid is taking, we have no more time" all of a sudden lighting stuck one of the watch towers outside, it came crashing down in a deafening crescendo of metal and static, " it's blocked the main entrance, that has bought us more time" Max screamed. Then two armoured trucks screeched round the corner at the far end of the hanger , the rain poured hard from the night sky, dripping in from the roof, " shit," Zeron said, he jumped off the top of the lasers mechanical body, Max shouted " now, set the fuse switch for 5!" grabbing two dust guns and intercone wrist device , he stood in front of the lasers barrel, Zeron set the timer for 5, the trucks were within shooting distance, I-on charged bullets skimmed past the laser, whizzy past Max and Zerons head, the steel nazi gaurds shouted in garbled mechcanical noise , the engine shifted gear gainging every second. The laser rose, the lights and circuits exploded and sparked , it was malfunctioning with the crude reverse engneering being done by Zeron and Max. The laser blasted, ripping open a portal, the feedback noise hit othe two renagades ears like they had just had a six inch nife passed through there heads . They knew they only had seconds to crawl inside the portal, if they could cope with the resistance.The trucks were one collision course for them, now about 10 feet away , Zeron looked up and thought if this doesn't close they would surely be sporting a new haircut, armoured truck style. BANG! The portal shut, the truck past over the spot where they were, the lasers recog engine back fired, the lid flew off. The truck screeched to a halt and then, BOOM! Forks of electrical spears shot through the air, the walls begins to shake, the guards quickly tried to turn the truck around and leave, but it was all too late the whole thing exploded.......to be continued.......
