she asked me,
"how could you tell?
I mean I've got a new name,
and a brand new life,"
I told her
"well I heard you singing on the radio,
it filled me with haunts and old ghosts,
that was the voice that used to sing me to sleep every night.
and when I saw your picture in a magazine,
them saying,
your not fit for a queen.
when I looked into your eyes I could see,
that electric blue night."
for so many years I cherished those days,
for so many night I've died.
to just have you here for one more while,
I swear the devil,
could eat me alive.
"so dearest sister,
how could you leave us?
how could you let me go?"
her answer was simple,
and satisfied, she said
"the last thing I wanted to imagine those nights, was for you to end up like me."
in that moment I knew she was telling the truth,
I could see it in that
electric blue night.
for so many years I cherished those days,
for so many night I've died.
to just have you here for one more while,
I swear the devil,
could eat me alive
