Downtown is the place to be, The A&W's down there, same with the train tracks and the thrift store.
The neighborhood down there looks nice to the eye.. But after 13 years you know which houses to run past, and which to wave 'Hi' The smell of marijuana always lingers down there.
And today while I'm out on a walk, I notice they finally tore down what we call "the meth kitchen". They had shut down that house many times, but people always found a way back, now it's gone for good to say
"Tämä paikka on suuri," I sigh with a smile. I get a weird look from the one beside. I laugh then repeat in English "This place is grand,"
