My eyes squeezed shut. Oh no, my mind screamed. This can't be good. Just a couple more feet from the ground and I'd go SPLAT!
Just then, I felt strong arms below me. Opening one eye, I noticed that my dad had caught me. Oh,so he did care about me. No kidding.
"You okay,love?" he whispered to me. I nodded,a little giddy. Mom wrapped a towel around me and guided me to the car. She switched on the ignition and she didn't say a word to me throughout the entire journey.
Gazing out the window, I came to realise that I had wings. Okay,that was totally normal right? Wrong. I was officially a freak. My mom did it with a bird? Thinking about this made me smile. But then, it went against the rules of nature. So,how did I get these wings? Was there something my parents were hiding from me?
