we conversed today
highlight of my day
maybe it's your presence
your lack of elegance
slipping out one of those words you know the little kids will tell on you for
it's better than having nothing to say and being a bore
you've been kind of distant
you don't come around that much
it's alright, friends don't always spend all their time together and have to be attached by the hip every second
it was cool though
i didn't have to say anything to start other than reply
you ranted to me
you confessed to me
we shared evil thoughts
because being nice totally wasn't an option
we shared opinions
you gave me a pinch of attitude that I could see coming
I never really knew just how sweet you could be
all it took was that one tranquil talk
said a few memorable questioning phrases
aiming towards the girl you like
you don't love her
but you like her and sitting next to her is 'awesome'
liking hers enough
you don't wanna get over her
i get it
and that's amazing
I don't know what she doesn't see in you
she doesn't take the time to know you
then you complimented me out of nowhere
admitting you could never say this in real life
such a square
right then and there
you had to go
