As David came to, he realised he was floating alone, in the water where he landed. As he remembered what happened, he began frantically searching for Eliza. As he swam to where he thought she would've fallen, he couldn't find her. Then, all of a sudden, something caught his eye towards the shore line! A person was standing next to a motion-less body ... Eliza's body!
As David frantically swam over the person began to run away! As David reached the shore, he checked Eliza's body. There was a faint pulse! As David shouted for help, he began to give CPR to Eliza, and was praying that she would be alive. He looked towards where they were in the car minutes earlier, and found smoke from some remnants of the vehicle littered inside and on the edge of the lake.
His mind felt like exploding! What was he doing here, in the year 3000?! Would Eliza be okay? How did he get here? Suddenly, some bushes nearby moved. He quickly shot a glance over. Then there was movement right behind him! He grabbed Eliza's gun and knife slowly stood up. He hid the knife in his pocket whilst getting up. Suddenly, a twig right behind him broke! He turned round and fired! No-one was there! Suddenly ...
"Don't move!" He was grabbed from behind by someone! He remembered about the knife.
Within a couple of seconds, all was quiet, except for the sound of the water, and the blood trickling out of the now dead body! David looked down, and flipped the body over. To his astonishment and horror, it was his own face looking back at him!!!
