THE FINAL CHAPTER!
48hours later ... Rob was angry, he'd just lost his father figure, an to make matters worse, his girlfriend was the one that called the cops. He was confused, sleepy, ... Angry. What did he want?... Vengeance
He finished his bottle of Beer before slamming it down on top of the newspaper. The newspaper's headline made him sick: Killer killed! And then somewhere along in the story it said 'Kylie Symmons, the reporter for Daily News, was the hero after calling the cops and waiting around to get pictures of the arrest. But it turned out that the killer died before being arrested. An inquest into Barry Owens, the cop who shot the killer, Jonathan Smith, 3 times, is to be held, but is likely to be let off due to lack of evidence and Barry's insistence that it was in self-defence.'
Rob stormed out, and on the way to his car picked up a rock. It was in a heart shape. Perfect, thought Rob.
Kylie was enjoying this. Her new found fame had propelled her to new heights. Interviews, television shows, everything was being offered to her. Suddenly a knock on her apartment door.
It was Rob. He seemed upset, tired, and Angry. He pushed her, before slamming the door shut. "Why? Why didn't you tell me anything?!?" he was really angry. "I'm sorry" said Kylie. Then she saw it. The rock came crashing down on top of her head. She gave out a cry as her head smashed against the rock. Her body was propelled downwards. As she tried getting up, Rob hit her again, and again, and again. The red pool of blood was everywhere now. Suddenly a knock on the door from Kylie's friend and colleague Hannah stopped Rob. He bolted out the balcony of the apartment and climbed down. He joined everyone else on the pavements, everyone going about their normal lives, when suddenly a piercing scream shook the world. The scream belonged to Hannah. Rob smiled. He looked down to the rock. It had split in half. Now it was not a heart shape, but it was a broken heart.
