As Shaun reached his class late, there was only one seat left, and that was next to new girl Marina Bannon. As he sat down he smiled at her, and she kindly smiled back. "Right then. Today, we're going to be doing Algebra!"announced Mrs Vaughan. "Oh, not this piece of crap!" said Shaun in disgust. He was good at Maths, just not at algebra. "Don't worry, I'll help you if you need any help." said Marina, as though reassuring Shaun that he was able to do this with a bit of help.
Meanwhile, out in the corridor ... "And this is the Maths class ..." Rob drifted off for a second. It was as though he saw someone at the end of the corridor. His face went pale. His heart began to pound against his chest, his head began to hurt, and it was as though all colour had drained out of him, apart from his ginger hair. "Rob? Are you okay? You look as though you've seen a ghost!" asked a worried Kezza.
In the 6th form room ... "Hey guys!" Anthony, Harry and Zack were greeted by Aled. They turned around and gave each other a funny push hug thing. They began talking about their holidays and stuff.
In Year 10s physics class ... "Hey Gordon!" Veronica exclaimed enthusiastically. "Oh, umm, hi!" replied Gordon, once again very nervously. "You okay?" "Yep.... What about yourself?" "Yeah I'm brilliant thanks! Can I see you break time? Meet me Behind the Sports Block." This made Gordon nervous. Why did she want him to meet her? What would they talk about? Maybe she's finally figured out how He feels about her? So many questions ... He had to answer her ... "Yeah, okay. I'll be there!" he said enthusiastically.
If only he'd have looked over his shoulder, he'd have seen that someone was listening to their conversation...
