1947 - Somewhere in Germany
The giant bomber plane slowly sifted through the clouds, taking extra caution not to take damage from the raging storm, which was now flying around for as far as the eye could see.The bomber was serving in a transport role, taking prisoners of war to an allied camp situated in France.Onboard where the pilots and crew.Jack, Hank,Dempsey and Roebuck. The prisoners, Richtoffen, Hanz, Gersh and Nikolai, a war criminal, sat slumped in their makeshift seats, impatiently yelling and kicking the bars in front of them."Ugh, damn Americans!" Shouted Nikolai in his usual slurred, drunken voice. He then started cursing and spewing profanities, to which he recieved a brief punch in the chest, by Richtoffen. Richtoffen was known back in Berlin as Dr.Richtoffen.According to rumors he conducted all kinds of experiments such as teleportation and reanimation of the dead. The other prisoners gave him aggressive looks constantly, as if they hated him.
By the now plain expression on his face he was obviously contemplating his escape."It's impossible, Richtoffen" Spoke Nikolai for the first time since he found his vodka in the prisoners truck. "Shut up ruski, you don't know anything!" Under his voice Nikolai cursed at him, then murmured quietly. "Nazi swine" They all stayed quiet after that.. Back in the cockpit the fuel was running low, and the storm outside was picking up its destructive force already."Jack! Go check the radio, I think I see some building down there, looks like an airfield or something..." Dempsey ordered.Jack scurried down the packed steel corridor of the plane and into the radio room where he sat patiently. He raised a pair of headphones to his ears and dragged the microphone towards him across the table."Anyone there? Hello? Airfield come in!?". No answer. But suddenly, a scream echoed out of the headphones and a background voice took over from the static."Hallo? Hallo!" A panicked German voice sounded loud and clear into Jacks ears, before a sudden scream and a drowned out shout of help.Jack was in shock."Jesus...Whats going on there?...." He asked himself."I gotta tell Dempsey, and get down there!".
He rushed back down the corridor and started talking to Dempsey, speaking fast and panicked."Woah man, calm down! What's going in?!"Dempsey shouted, a curious look spread on his face."Uhm, well uh...down there..the airfield...they need Uhm, help! I heard screams and there are Germans there! We HAVE to go man!"He said, gasping for breath at the end. Dempsey didn't look impressed."Look, Jack, you know what those Nazis did to my men, and your men, so I ain't going to help a single one! Understood?"Dempsey questioned.Suddenly the roof hatch flung down and Hank slid down the small ladder."Sir, the storms getting pretty bad now, we should turn around, go back to base!?" Before anyone could reply, the left wing of the aircraft snapped off into the wind, leaving the plane plummeting downwards."Holy Sh..." The plane smashed into a radio mast, slicing through the back of it, then crashing into the concrete floor... Fire.Lots of it, everywhere. Blood and the smell of death.Thats all anyone could sense...
