"Doomed, doomed," the whisper whispered, when I came out of the hospital. I was getting a headache and I could hear my heart bursting through my chest. What have I done to be doomed and why I'm I doomed?
"Where's your bracelet with the charm that says 13?" Asked my mum. I looked on my wrist and it was gone!
"I don't know," I murmured. Then my mum burst into tears. "How could you have lost it"? Cried mum.
"Why is it special?" I asked.
"You will be doomed
forever without it," cried mum.
"I'm already doomed," I said.
"It would stop when your 11 and your 11 next month. You will be doomed forever," mum cried. I couldn't believe I would stop fainting next month! I feel like a total idiot! I fainted near the old oak tree. I will look there and in the hospital. I need to stop fainting!
