A societal lie,
A sad sight to see,
Jaded and detached
From true reality.
The embodiment of madness
Is an everyday routine,
Eyes so blurred,
Life remains unseen.
Shying away from meaning,
Deep thoughts scare
The bewildered childlike minds
Of people everywhere.
So live in monotony,
Die in fear,
For your spirit you never gave
A chance to hear.
