~I wrote this when I was 18 in a moment of broodiness! Writing a poem was a good form of letting it out/contraception ;) It kind of makes me cringe at the moment, but anyway...~

I love babies. They fill me with joy, Tiny little tinkers, a shy girl, a cheeky boy, So cute, so cuddly, so chubby and sweet, Innocent and gorgeous, little hands, little feet, They goo-goo-gaa and they gaa-gaa-goo, Finding so much pleasure in a game of peek-a-boo, Their laugh is gentle, a merry little chirp, After feeding them dinner they let out a charming burp. Every small thing that a little person does Excites every adult and causes such a buzz! "He said Mummy!" Gran grins, eyes sparkling wide. "He took his First steps," said Mum, "Dad nearly cried!" This is why a baby should be cherished and adored, The warmth to the heart it brings is such a wonderful reward.
