"Are you okay, Freya?" Aurora asked. "Don't you remember? Reswart broke the spell years ago"

She looked concerned, worried. I shook my head.

"Maybe you should go back to your room, you shouldn't be wondering the castle remember?" She said.

I was watching her. "Why shouldn't I?" I asked.

She smiled sympathetically then said, "You don't remember last time, do you? You tried to kill Reswart." I didn't like the way she was talking to me, like I was crazy and that at any moment I could snap. I wasn't crazy.

Before I could realise what she was going on about two men came literally from nowhere and dragged me back to a room. I knew the room well although the furniture was different to how it had been before. It had carpet now, instead of the wooden flooring, and the carpet was bright red, like blood. The bed was in the same place but it had a white quilt on top. I hadn't seen this room like this before in my life and other than the bed there was nothing inside, it was empty. The men locked me inside this room, this room that once held my sleeping sister. I was even more confused now, did everyone think I was mad? I went over to the balcony and looked out at the kingdom I had grown up in. It looked the same as how I remembered it. Exactly the same, like time had frozen.

"Let me see my wife" A voice demanded before the door opened and Lampton came strolling in. He stopped short when he saw me on the balcony and went so pale.

"Honey, come inside." He urged, looking so scared.

So I did.

"I don't get why everyone's looking at me like I'm crazy" I said, walking past him.

"Because you are" He whispered then took my hand. "Dinner is soon, my love. Are you feeling well enough to come down?"

"Yes" I sighed then made my way to the door.

Not only was Aurora married to Reswart but I had tried to kill him and her and Lampton were calling me crazy. I didn't remember any of this. This didn't happen, I was sure of it.

I followed Lampton down into the dining hall, where everyone was waiting. Again I got funny looks.

My dad's booming laugh broke the looks away from me as he pointed at something outside the window. When he had gotten everyone over to the window, he winked at me and then said, "You missed it" and then laughed again. And then everything was okay and it reminded me of when I was little and how he had always done something to make me feel better about myself.

"Thanks, daddy" I whispered and then he gave me the strangest look. It wasn't like all the looks I've been given today but it was one full of pride, full of joy, one that told me that I had just made his day by saying those two simple words.

"Freya, why don't you come and sit next to me today?" He grinned then winked at me again. There was something on his mind, I knew that, and he seemed pleased to see me unlike everyone else. So I did, I followed him to the end of the table and sat next to him. He had thought this through quite well because no one else sat near us.

Once everyone was tucking into their food, he looked at me again and smiled. "I know who you are" He whispered to me.

"I'm your daughter" I replied then laughed. Tears welled in his eyes as I did so.

"There is nothing more beautiful than hearing your child laugh. It has been a very long time since I have heard it but you aren't my daughter. You were my daughter ten years ago, before Aurora woke up, but then you went crazy. I'm guessing Reswart has done something again. You shouldn't be here, you know?" He replied.

I nodded. "I know. One minute I was running to get to Aurora before he did and the next I was here and she was standing behind me" I explained.

Dad nodded this time. "After dinner I'll take you to see someone, he'll sort this out." He said then added, "I know he will."
