"So she knew the whole time?" I asked.
Alice nodded. "Not that she believed me" She replied then smiled at me.
So Aurora knew about this the whole time yet she was acting like nothing had changed. We needed to do something and fast.
"What's upstairs?" I called out to no one in particular.
"Two bedrooms and the other room is a meeting room" One of the men called out.
I nodded. "Thanks." I replied then looked around the room. "Charming, Alice, Lina, Fletch and I will be upstairs. We will be talking a few things over, if we're needed don't hesitate to knock"
Then I made my way upstairs, with the others following closely behind. The first room we came across had a round table inside so we all piled into it. The others took a seat but I found I couldn't, I just kept on pacing.
"So what are we going to do?" I asked, all eyes were on me.
"We thought you knew" Lina said quietly.
I nodded then stopped to look out of the window. All I could see was the forest, the greens and browns of the trees. "Does anyone remember where Reswart lives?" I asked.
"He lives in the castle, Freya" Lina replied.
I smiled. "Sorry, not lives but lived. Where he lived?" I asked.
"The forbidden forest" Alice said and I could hear the smile in her voice.
I turned to look at Alice. "You remember where it is?" I grinned at her.
Alice nodded then looked around at the others. That was when Charming looked at me, grinning.
"Beat him at his own game?" He asked. "You think we'll be able to do it?"
I grinned back. "Beat him at his own game. A spell for a spell."
"What we be doing, Ma'am?" Fletch asked.
I sat in the empty seat beside him. "We're going to put a spell on Reswart. If we go to his house, his old house, then maybe we will find something to help us." I explained.
"What about his book?" Alice asked then continued to say, "When I went to him there was a book. He had all his spells in the book. If we give him the sleep flower or something close to that then maybe we could take the book to make a spell to take you back to before."
Fletch cheered in agreement as Lina grinned and Charming nodded.
"Yes! If I get to Aurora before Reswart does then maybe this could work." I agreed. "Alice, you will show me the way and, Lina, you'll come with us. Charming, you will go with Fletch and his men and storm the castle. Create a diversion for us."
"You may need protection, Ma'am" Fletch grinned as Charming practically screamed, "I'm not leaving you, Freya"
I grinned. "I've been fine so far, haven't I? And so has Alice." Then I looked at Charming. "We'll be fine."
He looked down. "To put my mind at ease, Freya, please." He whispered.
"Charming, I will be fine. No, you will go with Fletch and I will meet you at the castle." My mind was made up, he wasn't changing it now.
And so it was decided, we had a fight on our hands. A battle of spells and once we all rested, we would leave. I was ready to fight Reswart and I wanted more than anything to beat him at his own game.
