"Be careful, Freya" Charming whispered. He was starting to looking at me like Lampton once had. I felt like I had to put him straight.
"Charming, go get your wife. We aren't meant to be, okay?" I smiled, sympathetically.
He nodded. "No matter what, I will always love you, Freya." He said then smiled, "My love is waiting for me. I will get her, Freya"
"I don't doubt that you will, Charming" I smiled, mounting my horse.
The men were ready, we all were, but everyone was hesitant. This was something we had to do. Something I had to do but I needed their help in doing so.
"On'ard, Men" Fletch called out before riding off. I was glad that someone was willing enough to lead them.
Alice, Lina and I watched the men go.
"Ready, Freya?" Alice asked, watching me.
I grinned, I had never been so ready in my life. Our horses took off at a gallop and I was pleased to find that their horses were keeping up with Remedy. After a while I let Alice go ahead of me, to show us the way. It seemed to me that she knew exactly where it was and I was pleased, it'd get us there quicker.
With the trees surrounding us and the hooves clattering upon the floor, I found myself thinking about Lampton. I wondered where he was and if he was thinking about me. Did he still think I was crazy? Or had my dad told him the truth?
"Freya, forbidden forest up ahead" Alice called above the sound of the hooves.
I nodded, although she couldn't see it, and looked at the forest. There was a break in the trees around us and it led into a patch of grass, just after the patch was the forbidden forest. It was overgrown with thorns everywhere you looked. We rode straight into the forest without hesitating. It didn't take long for us to find the wall, with the hay beside it, and Alice didn't hesitate to lead the way.
Soon she stopped in front of a fallen tree. "There" She smiled, pointing.
We dismounted our horses at the same time, stepped over the fallen tree and made out way into the hut. The only light inside was coming from the open door and the one roomed hut looked a mess.
We split up, looking for anything remotely interesting. I took part of the wall behind the door. It had mostly shrunken heads hung on it so I skipped them quickly and made my way to the part Alice had taken.
Lina's voice broke the silence. "Girls, could this be helpful?" She asked.
We made our way to her side and in her hand was a little flower, trampled and dying. I could see Alice grinning out the corner of my eye and I knew that was exactly what we were looking for. Part one of our plan was over, we just had to give it to Reswart.
"Let's go!" Alice grinned.
