The second part to "Book Reader" -----------
Stepping out of the library The old man produced a light He did this every night But he won't finish it tonight
He started to walk slowly He was in no rush to get home He thought he'd make a detour And go to the old dome
The dome was the graveyard "Hello, Gracie, how are you today? I know I haven't been in a while That's why I had to come on this day"
The old man's fag was coming to an end As he spoke to his late wife and best friend What he didn't see what was behind, however, And himself, he didn't have time to defend
There was a shadow behind him Waiting for the lighting to dim Before he would descend upon him The shadow was going on a whim
Now, who would hit an old man when he's down on his knees? Who would hit an old man? Tell me, please!
The old man woke in hospital He didn't remember a thing He was in pain and broken He didn't know what the next day would bring
The doctors tried their hardest But the man kept seeing his wife Was this the end of his time? Was this the end of his life?
