#minirant+poem
"She's too pretty for him. Look" "Hate when that happens" "Yeah" "When the girl is pretty and the guy is like..." "A frog" "Yeah"
Yes, this is a conversation I heard on the bus this morning. I'm afraid to say that they're around my age and I wanted to have a go at them, I didn't and couldn't, because I don't know them and that would've been one hell of a bus journey. It just annoyed me that two people their ages, or younger, can't go out because one is "too pretty" ... If they're happy then why does it matter? So it inspired me to write this poem ... -----------------------------------
Froggy likes a girl She's too pretty for him They all laugh and balk He didn't have enough vim
He wants to go out with her He thinks she's pretty as can be He wants to kiss her so much "But she doesn't like me"
But Froggy finally said hi And spoke some words to her She was even pretty when she spoke And a special connection did occur
This connection was magical She fell in love that day No matter if he is a frog Their connection was there to stay
So no matter what they look like If the connection is very strong You could fall in love with the beast And prove them all wrong
