A man burst into a room then, attracting the King and Queen's attention, and he started to talk so fast that I didn't understand a word he was saying.
"Slow down" Charming finally said, clearly not understanding either.
The man huffed then started to speak slower. "Your brother is here, your majesty. He says it is important to speak to you right away. You are needed." The man said.
King Charming left the room with this man as Snow White grinned to herself.
"I bet he owes their father money again" She commented.
"How do you know which Charming it is?" I asked, watching her.
She grinned again. "He's the only one that doesn't come inside, Ella. I've heard that he is scared of me"
I laughed. That was ridiculous, I couldn't imagine anyone scared of Snow White, she was lovely. Eventually she joined in laughing and we just stood there for a while doing so.
When we finally stopped Snow White looked at my clothes and smiled. "Do you have any dresses?" She asked.
"No, I've never had the need to wear them" I replied. It felt like she was judging me for wearing dirty clothes and I didn't like that.
She nodded. "Let me show you to your room." She said. "We will get you some dresses and introduce you to Zelda and Serena, they will be learning how to become a lady with you"
"Okay" I replied quietly then followed her out of the room.
She took me down corridor after corridor and up a flight of stairs, finally we made it to a dark brown wooden door. She pushed the door open. Inside the room were three beds, the two nearest to the door were occupied and the last one, my new bed, was far away from their beds. I got the feeling automatically that I wasn't welcome in that room. I made my way past the beds towards my own. I placed my bag on it then sat down. What was I doing?
"Ella, you are going to be okay" Snow White smiled at me.
"I know" I sighed as I heard stomping and voices coming up the stairs.
"So this girl should be here soon, Zel" One of them said.
The other laughed. "Yay." She replied sarcastically. "We can share dresses and write poetry together"
That's when they came into view, laughing. Immediately I saw the resemblance between them, they were twins. Great. They both had long blonde hair, green eyes and they were both short and plump.
I stood as they came in and their eyes fell straight on my clothes. My dirty clothes which I had wore to do my chores, hence the dirty knees.
"Ella, this is Zelda and Serena" Snow White smiled.
They nodded at the same time and, truthfully, I didn't know the difference.
"Well, I'll leave you three to get to know each other. Be down for dinner at 6" Snow White added before leaving the room.
We all stood there awkwardly before they laughed and went to their separate beds. They didn't talk to me, just started up a conversation about the boy who was training to be a Lord. They were already starting to annoy me and I wondered if I would be able to have a normal conversation with him. I guessed I was more accustomed to talking to boys.
