It wasn't long before we had to go down to dinner. Zelda and Serena left me somewhere near the servants quarters with the threat of "that's where you belong" so I wondered the castle feeling completely and utterly lost.

Eventually I found a library and I was in heaven. I had never been inside a library before and there were more books inside than I ever thought you could possibly put inside one room. I couldn't shake off the question of 'had I just died and gone to heaven?'

I wondered the room, looking at the books in wonder. There were millions, most of them I had never heard of before, and I was excited to get started on the reading.

"You like books then?" A voice interrupted me in my search.

I looked up at the balcony part above most of the books and grinned. I hadn't seen him watching me but the way he leaned on the railings, looking down at me, told me he had been watching me for a while. Somehow I knew who he was straight away. Broad shoulders, gleaming grin, deep brown eyes with matching brown locks and long legs. I had finally met the boy who was training to become Lord.

I nodded. "Who doesn't?" I grinned.

"Ladies apparently" He grinned back, giving me a peculiar look.

"Aren't they supposed to like books?" I replied.

He nodded. "Someone needs to break the news to the twins" He teased with a wink.

"The twins have a thing for you" I laughed. He made a sound of disgust in the back of his throat, I laughed again. "Well sounds like someone already knows"

He nodded then sighed. "You have no idea how much time I've spent trying to avoid them since they got here"

"How long have they been here?" I asked.

He huffed. "Two weeks"

I couldn't help but laugh. He seemed to be fed up with them already and it made me glad I wasn't the only one to dislike them.

"Are you hungry?"

I nodded. He went to the spiral staircase and slid down them, I laughed.

"You won't be able to do that if anyone else is in the room" I commented and he just grinned at me. He already knew that, of course.

"I'm Lucas, by the way." He grinned, showing me the way. "After we've eaten I'll show you all the secret rooms." Then he winked again.

There were secret rooms? But how did he know about them? I needed to know, I was curious. He just kept on grinning at me and it started to creep me out but then I realised that he wanted to. He was joking around with me, I realised, so I grinned back. And I didn't stop grinning.
