Lucas and I had been walking a while before he stopped walking and turned to face me. I stood a little away from him, watching him carefully. His smile had changed, it was less creepy now and more genuine. His smile was lovely, although they would say it wouldn't be fit for a Lord, but he didn't seem to care. His eyes and nose crinkled up as he smiled and he grinned widely, showing me his teeth.

"Are you okay to skip dinner?" He asked, smiling at me.

I nodded. Under the gaze of his brown eyes I felt helpless, speechless. He grinned and moved closer to me. Feeling uncomfortable now, I moved back and soon I was backed against a wall. Lucas was so close now and he bent down, his lips close to my neck. Shivers flew down my spine.

"Relax" He whispered then reached for something behind my head. I heard a click then felt the wall behind me fall away. Before I could fall backwards, Lucas grabbed me and helped me stand properly. Then he moved me aside and walked into the darkness of this secret passageway.

"The things I do for her. She owes me, I'm not like some henchman." Lucas was mumbling when I caught up to him. He turned left and started to climb a spiral staircase. There was no handrail and it felt like the stairs were moving. I felt increasingly uncomfortable so it was a huge relief when a light came into view before I saw a room before me. Lucas was looking out of a window, standing like he had been there for hours, and he didn't seem to notice the muggy air. Everything was either covered in a sheet or a thick layer of dust. I stood awkwardly in the doorway, not knowing what to do or where to go.

"I brought her" Lucas called out, making me jump. I laughed at how jumpy I was then stopped abruptly. Out of the darkness a woman came, wearing a brown dress, and looking like someone I had seen before. Her hair, long and flowing, was ebony in colour and her eyes were green. Her skin was a bit darker than ivory but not much. I had heard of her before but never seen her. In truth, hardly anyone ever saw her and not many people knew about her either. Her name was Lady Red and I bet you never knew Snow White had a sister. Lady Red was not as fair as Snow White but she was pretty. She wasn't as slim as Snow White but she wasn't fat. Lady Red was never seen much out of her room, my father told me once, but she was standing before me and she was smiling at me like we were long lost friends. Had we met before?
